Volunteer Terms and Conditions
All volunteer applicants are assigned shift schedules based on previous years volunteer history, date application was submitted, desired position and availability. All volunteers who submit an application will be contacted to confirm their application has been received, prior to the actual festival dates. For every eight (8) hour shift completed between May thru August 25th, volunteers will receive (1) one jazz festival ticket for their choice of performance (unless noted above). All volunteers will be required to attend the Volunteer Meeting / Training Seminar a few night prior to the start of the festival. Date and time to be announced, location, will be Snow Park Lodge in Deer Valley.
All volunteers will be given a volunteer shirt at the Volunteer Meeting. Volunteers will be required to wear this shirt and khaki pants or shorts during their shift at the Jazz Festival. Please do NOT alter your Volunteer shirt, it is considered a Uniform.
Remember, our Park City Jazz Festival volunteers will greet and direct some 12,000 Festival patrons during the three-day event. If greeting and helping patrons seems like something you want to do, then you will enjoy our Volunteer experience. We want friendly, fun loving volunteers!
There will be a thank you party for all volunteers on a date and place TBD. Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 11th Annual Park City Jazz Festival. Without your support this Festival would not be possible. The Park City Jazz Foundation prides itself on the high quality of its Park City Jazz Festival and on the superior standards of hospitality and professionalism shown by our Volunteer Staff.
