Take 5 is performing on Saturday August 25th, at 3:30pm on the 2nd Stage

One of Park City’s favorite, local musical groups, TAKE 5 has been entertaining audiences over the last year with its smooth, spicy, unique style of great Standards in Jazz, Blues, Bossa Nova and R&B. Inspired by the sounds of the 40’s and 50’s, and the likes of BB King, Sinatra, Bennett, Gilberto and Jobim, this group has put together a swinging sound that brings you to eras of the past with a creative taste of the present as represented in their original compositions.

The blending of this talent is composed of musicians originally from New Orleans, Toronto, Atlanta, the Northeast and the Northwest, providing the "roux” for its original sound. TAKE 5 is headlined by John Lambert on vocals, Richard Tavener on Percussion, Dave Packham on Piano, Ari Ioannides on Drums, Andrew Frick on Stand-Up Bass, and Ryan Hunter of Trumpet/Flugel Horn. Take 5 has had the pleasure of performing numerous times for various venues and events in and around the Park City and Salt Lake City areas, as well as for the Sundance Film Festival, Deer Valley Resort, Park City Mountain Resort and the Talisker Corporation. They will be releasing their first CD in October.
