Craig Chaquico is performing on Sunday August 26th, 2007 at 2:45 pm at the Fidelity Stage

Reaching the top of the national charts during the '70s and '80s, guitarist/songwriter Craig Chaquico played lead guitar and wrote songs with the popular gold and platinum million selling bands Jefferson Starship and Starship from 1973-1990. Now, Chaquico is an award winning solo artist selling more than a million copies!

His album, Acoustic Planet, knocked Yanni from the #1 slot on the charts. For four consecutive decades, Chaquico has topped the national charts in four separate musical categories, because jazz is a big word.

At 12-years-old, Chaquico started playing guitar in a hospital bed after a car accident broke both arms, his wrist, thumb and leg. Wearing a fake mustache and pretending to be 14-years-old, Chaquico started playing in nightclubs. At 16, he played with Jefferson Starship and recorded with Grace Slick.

Instrumental in making the Jefferson Airplane & Jefferson Starship one of the top 10 most successful acts in history, Chaquico has hit #1 as a solo artist while touring nationally.

Chaquico is one of the only guitarists on tour today who can boast playing at the top of the charts in four decades crossing into classic rock, ‘70s rock, ‘80s rock, ‘80s pop, soft rock, easy listening, and, of course, jazz.

Get ready for some tasty award winning acoustic guitar along with electric rockin’ classic hits with Craig Chaquico.
