Reaching the top of the national charts during the '70s and '80s, guitarist/songwriter Craig Chaquico played lead guitar and wrote songs with the popular gold and platinum million selling bands Jefferson Starship and Starship from 1973-1990. At 12-years-old, Chaquico started playing guitar in a hospital bed after a car accident broke both arms, his wrist, thumb and leg. Wearing a fake mustache and pretending to be 14-years-old, Chaquico started playing in nightclubs. At 16, he played with Jefferson Starship and recorded with Grace Slick.
