Anna Wilson is a jazz recording artist and songwriter whose timeless, sophisticated sound is juxtaposed by her stunningly contemporary voice and message. In fall 2008, Wilson will release her highly anticipated holiday CD that features performances by jazz trumpeter Rick Braun and country artist Chuck Wicks. This project will complement her critically-acclaimed efforts for Asylum/Curb, Transfer Records, and Habitat for Humanity International.

As a veteran performer, Wilson has been co-billed with many top acts such as Josh Groban, Boz Scaggs, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Patty Griffin, Shawn Colvin, Trisha Yearwood, Garth Brooks, The Mississippi Mass Choir, and Dar Williams. She performs regularly at high-level jazz festivals and exclusive wine events throughout the country, ranging from The Napa Valley Reserve to the Naples Wine Festival.

As a prolific songwriter (Criterion Music Group), she has penned cuts for other artists like Reba McEntire, Billy Ray Cyrus, Chris Cagle, and Chuck Wicks. Wick’s current single, “All I Ever Wanted,” is a Wilson co-write.

Anna Wilson is very engaged in the work of Habitat for Humanity International. Her Habitat-inspired single, “A House, A Home,” was released by the charity as a single, and it was used in their national public service announcements and marketing efforts to illustrate Habitat’s community- and life-building work. Wilson has also made appearances for Habitat. Most recently, she performed “A House, A Home” to open the 25^th anniversary celebration of Jimmy and Roslyn Carter Work Project in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Plus, Wilson also has a long history of partnering with the entertainment industry and major consumer brands. Her songs appear everywhere from Miramax films to the Whirlpool Corporation’s website.Born and raised in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, Anna Wilson has lived in Nashville for a decade. There, she continues Music City’s rich songwriting tradition, while recoding innovative vocal jazz projects.
